Your CAD, step by step

Production geometry may be pre-launch and pre-clearance. We agree the file-handling terms with you before any transfer.

  1. Step 1: An NDA before any file. We agree an NDA before you send files: your agreement or one we arrange together. The website form doesn’t accept file uploads.

  2. Step 2: Only what the camera sees. A defeatured file is fine for anything off screen, and a released part is fine for a test render.

  3. Step 3: Agree the transfer. We agree the transfer method before you send any files. Please do not attach production CAD to an initial email.

  4. Step 4: Named access. We identify who will work with your files and agree their access before transfer.

  5. Step 5: Your project only. The project agreement sets out permitted use, storage and any service providers involved in handling your files.

  6. Step 6: Reviews without CAD. Review the animation as video without distributing the source CAD. We agree the review method and access with you.

  7. Step 7: Agree retention and deletion. Retention and deletion terms are agreed in writing for your project.

Standing commitments

  • No portfolio use without written consent. The default is never.
  • No patient data needed. For CBCT-based anatomy we ask for de-identified exports.
  • Project updates. We agree review dates and how schedule changes will be handled before work starts.
  • Parts you’re entitled to share. We rebuild or animate only parts you own or are authorised to reproduce.

Your claims and our check sheets

We’re not your regulatory reviewer (MLR/PRC). We make your reviewer’s job faster. Claims approval remains with your regulatory team. We verify engineering facts (dimensions, sequences and values) against your documents.

On every check sheet
Visualisation check: confirms that the animated geometry matches the supplied CAD or drawing within the stated tolerance. It is not design verification or inspection under ISO 13485 or 21 CFR 820, and must not be used for manufacturing or regulatory submissions.
On every rebuilt model
Visualisation-grade model. Not for manufacturing, inspection or regulatory submission.

Procurement requirements

Tell us what your procurement team needs: write to hello@dentanima.com. We’ll confirm the documents and project terms we can provide before kickoff, including:

  • Company details and registration information
  • Your NDA and any data-processing requirements
  • Your security or supplier questionnaire
  • Scope, delivery dates and review rounds
  • Payment terms, file handover and usage rights

The written project agreement sets out the final scope and terms, including any third-party licences for music, fonts or voice-over. Specific certifications and procurement documents are confirmed individually.

Data protection

We agree project-specific data-processing requirements and the providers involved before you share files. Enquiries sent through this website are covered by our privacy notice.
